Casual Materials Coordinator

Purpose: 

The Materials Coordinator will ensure that ATI company materials are routed in and out of CVG station.  This position requires physical labor and computer knowledge.  Employees may be required to lift up to 50 pounds and will need to be able to bend, stoop, stand and walk in various weather conditions for most of their shift.  The ability to read, write and communicate in written and in verbal form is a requirement.  Also must be able to drive various vehicles and equipment in support of the COMAT process to include a belt loader and a forklift.  Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and must be able to be ramp certified.  This position will require extensive use of the company computer system and email system.  Must be able to be trained and to handle hazardous materials in accordance with company processes and procedures. 

 

Job Functions:

  • Preparing COMAT paperwork before aircraft arrival. 
  • Obtaining COMAT to be moved outbound.
  • Overseeing and recording large COMAT items loaded and removed by DHL.
  • Routing off loaded material as required
  • Updating COMAT information in company computer system
  • Preparing and sending communications regarding daily COMAT
  • Preparing COMAT paperwork before aircraft arrival.
  • Obtaining COMAT to be moved outbound.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good Oral and Written communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend and walk for most of the shift
  • Ability to be trained in the use of belt loader and forklift
  • Walking up belt loader at steep incline
  • Ability to be trained in HAZMAT shipping.
  • The ability to be trained in the use of company computer system
  • The ability to use company email system
  • The ability to work in inclement weather conditions
  • Valid Driver’s License
